hmmm… dusty…

ride the pig!

so. it’s been ~10 months…

there’s been a lot of world of warcraft in there.

i’m thinking about starting a 100% casual guild with my cousin justin (and perhaps our other cousin lex, if she’s not too busy to come out and play). i think it could be a cool experiment — i’ve been playing wow for over 2 years now, but there are several things in the game i’ve never done, or at best scratched the surface.

pvp is one of the main things i’ve avoided, but after reading wow.com for a few months, i’m really starting to get curious. but curious will never equal serious for me, which is why i’m talking about a “100% casual” guild; for leveling, dueling, arena-ing, battleground-ing, pug-ing, and whatever other groovy stuff i’ve been missing out on.

what to call it, though?

my daughter and i have been talking about creating an all gnome guild called <tiny but mighty>, and we still might (especially now that gnome priests will be possible in cataclysm). i love the horde though… i was thinking of calling this 100% casual venture <ride the worg>, with a url like http://ridethew.org/, but i’m not sure about that… seems like it would be a pain to tell people about, like delicious used to be when it was at http://del.icio.us/ instead of http://delicious.com/.  (I still think that’s one of the best urls ever.)

anyway, it’s late and i’m rambling. but it’s the first thing i’ve posted in 10 months, so i figure it can suck as long as it’s something, right?
