a new look for the 101st post

hello, internet.

despite the fact that i have no readership, i thought i’d mark the occasion of my 101st post (this one) with a new, cleaned up theme using the ingenious plaintxtblog theme created by scott wallick.

also, thanks to the fact that i have no readers, i don’t have to sweat making the changes — i just do it in real time.  so if you happen to be on my site (by mistake, of course) and you see something that looks wonky, give it a second and reload… i’m probably changing something.

main new features as of now:

  • double sidebar — more stuff horizontally.  perfect for all those wide-aspect screens my readers would use… if i had any readers.
  • tag cloud — the new theme came with a tag cloud, but i don’t think tags existed for the first ~70 posts of blog.decompiler.us, so i’m going back (a bit at a time) and retagging/categorizing them so the tag cloud is relevant.
  • new status flyout — i got tired of my gamercard, psn portable id, and other stuff being constantly visible, so i hid it in a little status flyout.  click the ‘d?’ hand if you care about that stuff, or don’t if you don’t!  (see how that works?)
  • more info in the about page — i’m working on getting even more types of status stuff together to put in the about for those who find the flyout not informative enough.

other than that, everything’s pretty much the same as it was, it’s just a little easier to read.

i’ll be back with some actual posts soon.  until then, click on the ‘d?’ hand a few times…
